Section I - Hospital Benefit

(This section does not apply for Trips within the United Kingdom, except for Trips to the Channel Islands)

What you are covered for

We will pay up to the overall limit shown on the Schedule of Benefits if, after an accident or illness that is covered under Section C (Medical and other expenses) of this insurance, you go into hospital as an in-patient outside the United Kingdom. We will pay £10 for each complete 24-hour period whilst you are in hospital. Benefit ceases if hospitalisation continues back in the United Kingdom.

Note: The amounts we will pay under this section are meant to help you pay extra expenses such as taxi fares and phone calls during your trip.
